We came they saw we Thrived. That was how the weekend of racing went at Elwood on the weekend. We didn't have a huge turn out but the team punched well above their weight with 3 athletes racing and claiming a 2nd, 3rd and a 4th. Statistics don't get much better than that. It was great to see Charlie White in only his second season racing down in Melbourne finally stepping up onto the podium. He has been knocking on the door all series being within a minute in nearly every race. I wonder if it was the added incentive this week to knock off Coach Jason which gave him that extra energy to take the next step. Jason come home in 4th place after over 12 month off from Triathlon as he has been enjoying his new passion of Off Road training and racing. Sharon after a huge 2 weeks of UM training in Noosa flew in Saturday to take out 3rd spot on the podium and a 5 km run PB on very tired legs. Back in the country we had 2 athletes fly the Thrive flag at Bridgewater tri. Luke had a great race knocking time off from last year and the super consistent Darren had a good training days as the boys get ready for bigger and better goal races coming up
