Feeling HOT HOT HOT is all that can be said for this weekends IM Western Australia. Temperatures reaching 30 degrees around lunch time and not dropping off till after 6 30 it was a war of attrition. We couldn't be more proud of our #thriveteam members Markcus and Sharon fighting it out to the very end. Markcus had the race that you dream about, with a perfectly executed race plane from start to finish. Running down 14 spots once he got off the bike to bring him home just a sneaks over 9 30 and in 11th spot, missing a 2nd Kona spot by 2 spots. Sharon was playing a game of patience hoping to reap the reward thats she deserves in the run. Unfortunately wasn't the dream ending but still a great PB picking up 6th and another notch under the belt. This was a great last big race before these 2 head into UM training over the summer. Also on the UM front coach Chris has been working hard to strength his body to prepare for the lead into UM. He had his own big 2 day practise race rehearsal which he come on out with flying colours.
On the home front once again we had Shepparton and Echuca local mini tri races with Lauren flying the Thrive flag at Shepparton. This week Echuca had a handicap team event and the #thriveteam excelled with the inform Luke pairing up with SImon on his come back to training. On the MTB seen we saw Robbo at the Buxton 3 hour enduro.
