Thriving Race results

What an amazing weekend of racing we had all over the country. Ironman Australia was the main event with 3 #thriveteam members taking on the challenge. Fiona and Jack both joined the Ironman club both enjoying the amazing experience and coming home to hear those famous words YOU ARE A IRONMAN for the first time. Sharon finally made it to the start line after a long 12 months of ups and downs and not making a start line. We are so proud of all 3 of you, now some time to soak it up with rest and relaxation. Port 70.3 saw Markcus, Scott, and Wendy fly the thrive flag in style. Wendy exiting T2 in 1st position and gave all she had to hold on to 3rd position. Pretty special way to celebrate your 50th birthday. Scott had a whopping 40 min PB which included a puncture in T1. Over in W.A Meagan continued her improvement after a big lay off and major surgery and she has set her sights now on Cairns IM.

On the Mountain Bike scene the MY Ride boys headed to Buxton to take on the challenging Nifty Fifty race course. Nathan lead the way with Hamish and Robbo close on his heals. Coach Jason took on the Golden Triangle epic 100 finally staying upright for the whole ride things are looking on the up.

Last but not least we had Matt flying the flag for the runners at the always amazing puffin billy train race. This is a great event and highly recommend putting it on your run calendar if you love a great challenge in some amazing country.
